I am honored to serve as the 2024-2025 ICF Central Florida Chapter President. Over the past 8 years I have served as the Membership Chair, Global Chapter liaison, and President Elect. Working on this board has allowed me to see the amazing dedication and commitment of our volunteers that are the heart of our organization. This is an organization that you get out more than you put in. (just ask me how) I am also honored to serve with an outstanding board that is filled with leaders who are committed, passionate and well-regarded in our field of coaching. They have an unwavering commitment to our Chapter, our members and to advancing coaching equity for not only Central Florida, but beyond.

I am grateful for this opportunity from previous ICF-CF leaders to lead this innovative Chapter and the chance to collaborate with our board, volunteers, and members to fulfill our mission of evolving the coaching profession into our local communities through education of what coaching is, programs that develop meaningful relationships, equity, and self- transforming mindsets so that coaches, community, and members cultivate broader societal change and support our chapter members.

Last, Over the past 40 years I have been a serial entrepreneur spanning industries from Architecture to running a global lifestyle brand. My journey has allowed me to live, work, and explore over 50 countries, feeding my passion for sailing, learning about people, cultures, perspectives and my own evolution.

Mimi Layton, ICF Global Chapter Liaison Find Me On LinkedIn

I am a native of Central Florida, though I have a deep love for the mountains, having spent several years in North Carolina and Georgia before returning to Florida in 2020. With 25 years in Talent Development, my path naturally led me to coaching. My husband, Eric, and I share our home with three dogs, a cat, and a passion for all things Disney.

When I began my coaching journey, I joined ICF Global and quickly realized the importance of being involved in my local chapter. I am passionate about helping coaches in our community achieve their goals—whether starting their own business, connecting with organizations that embrace coaching, or honing their skills. Serving on the board since January 2022 as the co-chair of the Outreach Committee, I’ve worked to define what Outreach means and how to approach it, all while connecting with incredible people who have helped me grow as a coach.

I want to be known for being vulnerable enough to live as my authentic self, showing compassion and love—first to that imperfect but beautiful self, and ultimately to the world around me. My mission is to restore compassion by helping others learn to love themselves, so they can extend that love to others.

My vision is for our chapter to be a vital resource for coaches, clients, and organizations in Central Florida. We aim to educate our community on the value of coaching and give back by providing coaching services where we live and work.

Jennifer Gilman, Treasurer* Find Me On LinkedIn

As someone driven by a growth mindset, I seek to surround myself with people I can learn from, collaborate with, and grow alongside, always looking for ways to give back to our industry. I joined the chapter in November 2022 and am excited to be in learning and discovery mode as I contribute to our work.

My personal healing journey has fueled my passion for integrating mind-body wellness into the workplace and at home, empowering individuals to overcome health challenges through healthy nutrition and lifestyle changes—an approach rooted in Mind-Body Medicine. As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, Master Herbalist, and Hormone Health Specialist, my clients rave about getting to the root cause of their wellbeing so they can feel better and live better! They also call me their “self-care muse”. I feel so honored!

As Treasurer, I am committed to continuing the chapter’s legacy of excellence and leaving it even better than I found it, though that will be an easy task given its current state as a well-oiled machine. My core values—adventure, health, love, purpose, and mindfulness—are central to how I approach this role, with purpose and mindfulness playing key roles in my responsibilities.

Robin Lavitch, Secretary* Find Me On LinkedIn

I’m Dr. Robin Lavitch, often known as "The People Whisperer." With a doctorate in Human Behavior and a master’s in Psychology, plus over 25 years of experience as a coach and trainer, I’m all about helping people grow and thrive. My goal is to inspire lasting change, helping people achieve peak performance, stay focused, and build stronger relationships—basically, helping them find more time and meaning in their day.

I’ve been a coach for almost 20 years because I believe in doing meaningful work, and that includes giving back. Serving on the board is one way I can use my strengths to help others and make a positive impact on our coaching community.

I’ve been part of the board for a while now, serving as Secretary for the last two years and as President when the chapter was just getting started. It’s been an amazing experience to be part of a team with big dreams and seeing those dreams come to life—because, honestly, would you expect anything less from a group of coaches?

When it comes to my personal vision, I’m all about learning and growing. I feel lucky to do what I love and to help others find their path, too. I’ve seen my clients overcome huge challenges, and it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey. My vision is to help people—whether they’re driven professionals or teens—discover who they are and what they’re capable of, so they can create the life they want.

As for my role in the chapter, I’m excited to support our goals, especially when it comes to strengthening our educational programs and spreading the word about the power of coaching. My love for learning and personal growth fits right in with this role, and I’m thrilled to be part of something that aligns so closely with my values.

Missy McNabb, Co-Chair, Strategic Partnerships Find Me On LinkedIn

Our Board is a supportive, collaborative team driven by our mission to serve both our members and the broader community. I love being part of a group that works together seamlessly to make a meaningful impact! I joined in 2019 as Secretary, which was a fantastic way to learn the ropes of being a Board member. After two years, it became clear that we needed a role focused on supporting both the Chapter President and Global initiatives, leading to the creation of the Global & Local Chapter Initiatives Chair. More recently, I stepped into the role of Chair for Strategic Partnerships, as I was already involved in the programs of our current partners.

It’s been an incredible journey, and I highly recommend joining the Board—it’s a fantastic team with excellent networking opportunities and plenty of ways to contribute. You can be confident without being perfect; believe in yourself, and good things will come!
