Program Description:  

Leaders from four well-known organizations will share learnings and results from implementing a coaching program in the workplace. The companies represented are:

  • The Mosaic Company
  • SunTrust Bank
  • MarineMax
  • Department of Defense
  • U.S. Special Operations Command 

The panel will be moderated by ICF Central Florida President Lillian LeBlanc, who developed and implemented an internal coaching program for Baptist Health South Florida.

There will be ample time for audience questions.

Panel Members:

Terin DuellTalent and Workforce Planning Manager -The Mosaic Company


Terin is the Manager of Talent and Workforce Planning for the Florida Phosphates Business Unit at Mosaic.  Terin moved to Florida from Canada last year where she was in a similar role for the Canadian Potash Division.  Prior to Mosaic, Terin worked in numerous HR roles within the Natural Gas industry in Saskatchewan.  A Certified Professional in Human Resources (Canadian equivalent to SHRM-CP), Terin is trained and certified in Change Management, MBTI, Workforce Planning, EQi, Leadership Architect, and Inside Out Coaching.  Terin has a deep passion for all things Talent Management and is a true believer in role that coaching plays in developing exceptional talent.  Terin is married to her high school sweetheart and has two wonderful children who are quickly adapting to their new lives in the USA.


Executive Vice President Florida Brand & Premier Market Executive SunTrust Banks, Inc.


Kimberly Dorsett is the Market Executive for SunTrust Banks’s Florida Branch and Premier Banking; she serves as an Executive Vice President and manages 2600 teammates in over 420 branches 

Mrs. Dorsett began her banking career in 1998 and joined SunTrust in 2014. Prior to assuming her current role, she served as the Market Executive for SunTrust’s Central Florida Division and then later the North Florida Market.  Mrs. Dorsett is responsible for the implementation and execution of the Branch and Premier Banking’s sales and service strategies and additionally its financial performance. Throughout her career, she has held various leadership roles for Branch and Small Business both domestically in firms such as AmSouth Bank/Regions Financial Corporation, Royal Bank of Canada and PNC Financial as well as internationally with Lloyds TSB where she was based in London, England. 

Mrs. Dorsett serves as a Board of Director for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida as well as a Board Member of the Southeast Operation Hope Board. Prior to SunTrust she served as a Market Liaison for the Diversity and Inclusion Council for Florida with PNC Financial Services. 

Mrs. Dorsett lives with her family in Orlando, FL.


Dr. Ray L. Bowman, Ph.D., is the Senior Vice President for Talent and Team Development at MarineMax


MarineMax is the nation’s largest boat and yacht retailer with approximately 70 stores and a dozen marinas from coast-to-coast with approximately 1800 employees, Dr. Bowman created, updates and oversees the company’s innovative health care plan as well as executive development, executive coaching, various other management training functions, strategic planning coordination and facilitation, oversight of HR, review and approval of all management hires and promotions, and multi-level succession planning for the independent Board of Directors. Dr. Bowman is the innovative founder of MAXHealthPlan Solutions (a division of MarineMax) which shares these very successful, cost saving strategies with other interested companies.

Prior to joining the MarineMax team, Dr. Bowman spent nearly four decades practicing Clinical Psychology with four offices in two counties surrounding Tampa Bay, Florida. His practice also provided cognitive rehabilitation for neurologically impaired patients. He is board certified (with Diplomate status) in Neuropsychology, Psychopharmacology, Forensic Psychology, Pain Management, and Clinical Psychology. He has degrees from Eckerd College (formerly Florida Presbyterian College), the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Georgia. He completed his clinical internship at Shand’s Teaching Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He retired from clinical practice in 2011 and lives in Seminole, Florida with his beautiful wife of 43 years, Debra, and they have one son, Robert, who lives in Hendersonville, North Carolina with his wife, Ashley, and two extraordinarily gifted and adorable granddaughters, Hannah and Grace, ages eight and four.


Janie Church – Department of Defense - Deputy Chief of Security, United States Central Command


Janie assists in overseeing the daily management and implementation of a security program comprised of three major operating platforms: Information, Personnel, and Physical in service to 7k personnel. Prior to working in the civilian sector, she served 23 years in the United States Air Force before retiring in 2003. She has earned an Associate in Applied Science in Information Management; a Bachelor of Science in Management from National Louis University, and from Faith Theological Seminary and Christian College, a Bachelor of Ministry and a Master of Theology.


Janie is a Certified Leadership and Performance Coach for the Defense Intelligence Agency and has a dedicated passion to use her training as a Certified Leadership and Performance Coach, along with her Christian and leadership experience to help clients breakthrough life circumstances with a high level of purpose and dignity in order to reach their full potential—both personally and professionally.  She is currently pursuing advanced level coaching credentials as an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation.

Janie is an ordained Minister and President/Founder of Women of Endurance, Power and Authority, WEPA Ministries, Inc. a 501(c)(3) faith-based organization for women. Janie is married to Robbie (37 yrs) and they have two wonderful sons, Tarik (Kaitlynne) and Hasani.


Beverly A. Amity - Chief, Reserve Management Office Intelligence Officer, U.S. Special Operations Command 


Ms. Beverly Amity joined United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in 2018 and is currently serving as the Chief of the Reserve Management Office within the Intelligence Directorate.  Ms. Amity is also a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Certified Leadership and Performance Coach.  Prior to joining USSOCOM, she held positions as both a military service member and civilian at United States Central Command (USCENTCOM).  After her promotion to Commander in the U.S. Navy, she served as Branch Chief for the Indications and Warning, Open Source Intelligence Branch.  Shortly thereafter, she became the Branch Chief for the Human Terrain Analysis Branch within the Afghanistan Pakistan Center (APC).  In July 2011 she joined DIA and became the Operations Chief for the former APC as a government civilian.  In 2015, Ms. Amity returned to serve as the Branch Chief for the Human Terrain Analysis Branch.  Prior to her departure from USCENTCOM, Beverly served as Joint Intelligence Center, Central Command’s (JICCENT) Deputy of Operations.  Her other collateral duties included serving as JICCENT’s Reserve Production Management Officer, Analytic Outreach Coordinator, DIA Mentor, and Certified Adjunct Facilitator.  She retired from the United States Navy after 27 years of service.


Ms. Amity is a graduate of Grove City College, Grove City, Pennsylvania where she earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration. She also graduated from the Institute for Paralegal Training, Philadelphia, PA.  Ms. Amity also received a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Phoenix, (Orlando Campus).  In 2014 she attended the Harvard Senior Executive Fellows Program.  In 2016 she returned to Harvard and attended the Harvard Women and Power Executive Program. She is a Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer, and Speaker with The John Maxwell Team and a Maxwell Certified Behavioral Analysis Consultant and Trainer (DISC).
