Dear ICF-CF Coaches,
I hope that this message finds you well and that you have a prosperous season ahead of you. Many of you have already contributed to the great success of the Strategic Choices Workshop and Coaching Program. The purpose of the workshop and follow-up coaching is to help students develop a strategic personal and professional development plan. Students continue to report that their experience with their coaches is their favorite part of the course. In fact, their feedback makes it clear that coaches are making a significant difference in the lives of our students, which is likely to continue to have a positive impact on those around them in the years to come.
We are offering three courses with a coaching component this spring: the Leadership Certificate/Coaching practicum course, the Career Development practicum course, and an Executive MBA communication course. Students who complete the Leadership Certificate practicum course, which includes a series of modules and the coaching component, earn a Leadership Certificate from our TECO Energy Center for Leadership. I would love for you to be one of the coaches. It would involve the following:
Our spring workshops will be held as follows (locations to be determined):
To prepare you to participate, we will send out a pre-workshop packet of information and also have a teleconference before the workshop to go over the agenda and materials and answer any questions you might have. It will be recorded and you will have access to the recording if you cannot be on the call at that time.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you can participate by sending us an e-mail: COACHING@ut.edu
Also, please let us know whether you’re willing to coach a second student. Neeshana and I look forward to hearing from you!
