Wendy Rudd Certified Life Coach, ELI-MP

Wendy Rudd received her B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University in 1995. She began her teaching career working at a Title 1 school working with a diverse population of students and families. Her biggest challenge in the classroom was meeting the needs of her students that ranged in ability from Autistic to Gifted. In 2003, Wendy gave birth to twin girls and moved to Sarasota to be closer to family. Her daughter, Jayme was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder and tested high on the gifted spectrum by the age of 6. While learning to navigate through the daily struggles that came with these two diagnoses, Wendy came to realize the importance of self-care and what it means to “put your own oxygen mask on first before helping others”. Following her passion for helping and educating others she became a Certified Life Coach through the International Coach Federation Accredited Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) Coach Training Program. It is through the coaching process that she is able to help parents of children with special needs be the best version of themselves so that they can be the best parent for their child(ren).
