Course Description:

We welcome Anik Clemens, as our guest speaker today, who will focus on the power to “Ignite” your coaching presence and explore new ways to take-action and increase awareness on the power of coaching. She will ignite you with her warm personality and powerful presentation skills.

The International Coach Federation (ICF) Is the largest professional coaching organization in the world. With 142 chapters and over 35,000 members around the world, imagine If each chapter connected with their local community and the positive impact coaching would have. When we share the power of coaching with our world, we have the power to ignite our local communities and spark a global impact. ICF's sister organization the ICF Foundation connects professional coaches with organizations to accelerate and amplify impact on social progress through coaching. 

The ICF Foundation's Ignite Initiative uses the collective power of ICF Chapters to accelerate the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goal #4 of Education: ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.

During this webinar, we will Learn about the Ignite Initiatives in 2018 and projects underway in 2019. In 2018, 55 organizations partnered with 35 ICF Chapters to provide pro-bono coaching to the managers and leaders of organizations and create a ripple effect of positive impact. 

Engage in this interactive presentation to discuss examples of Ignite Projects, hear testimonials, and learn how you can take-action in your own community to increase awareness of the power of coaching.


About the Presenter: 

Anik Clemens is the Regional Development Manager for North America for the International Coach Federation (ICF). She joined ICF Global in October 2018, after being a member of ICF Central Florida for 3 years and serving as the Treasurer on the ICF Central Florida Board for 2 years. As Regional Development Manager, she supports 28 local ICF chapters in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring a positive experience for current and prospective ICF members, credential holders, and volunteer leaders. Her goal is to serve and help expand the global professional coaching community. 

Previously, Anik owned her own coaching business, Anik Perspectives, where she worked collaboratively with clients through major life transitions, such as building a business, changing careers, or dealing with a death in the family. She challenged her clients to dismantle the blocks that kept them stuck, empowering them with tools and resources to grab ahold of their personal purpose and step into living their best lives. Prior to coaching, Anik served as a biologist/technical writer for the Federal government, NOAA Fisheries Service, where for 15 years she worked with a team to implement fisheries policies and regulations to create sustainable fisheries, safe sources of seafood, and conserve our natural resources. 

Anik’s formal education includes a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in German Literature from the University of California at San Diego and completion of coach training with the Quantum Success Coaching Academy. She is currently working on her ACC credential and fluent in German and English.
