Presenter:  Lillian J. LeBlanc, PCC

Program Overview:

What is “ethics”, anyway? How do you determine if certain behaviors are ethical or not? How does ethics apply to our work as coaches?

Participate in this highly interactive session to explore the broad definition of ethics, review the ICF Code of Ethics and examine your own ethical compass. Through group discussion and case studies, you’ll be immersed in this fascinating topic not only from the perspective of coaching, but through the lens of life in general.

Participation in this program provides Core Competency CCEs in Ethics (All ICF credentialed coaches must obtain 3 CCEs in Ethics during each credential renewal cycle.)

Pre-work:

Carefully review the ICF Code of Ethics and consider how you apply it to your coaching practice. Come prepared to share your thoughts and experiences.

Learning Objectives:

1. Increase awareness of the ICF Code of Ethics and ethics resources available to ICF coaches.

2. Explore one’s own ethical boundaries and decision making processes.

3. Examine several real-life ethical cases to expand understanding of ethics in practice.

4. Learn from other participants through best-practice sharing.
