Why ROI Must Be the Focus of Your Coaching Practice
Presenters: Lillian LeBlanc and Bob Canino
January 26 (Tampa)
Whether the client is an organization or an individual, coaching is an investment. Our clients not only pay coaching fees, but they also invest time in the process. Investments are measured by the return that they produce and an investment in coaching is no different.
Measuring the return on investment (ROI) of coaching is emerging as one of the most important areas of focus for every coach. Understanding the concept of ROI and knowinghow to calculate it in a way that is meaningful to your client will give you a key competitive advantage in the coaching marketplace.
In this session, we’ll discuss the critical importance of calculating the value of behavioral change, explore ROI and ROE, and examine actual examples of the calculations for real clients. Attendees will receive a useful worksheet to support the determination of ROI or ROE for their clients.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Articulate the value of behavioral change
- Explore why conveying the ROI of a coaching investment is critical to success
- Understand the difference between Return On Investment (ROI) and Return On Expectations (ROE), and when to use each
- Learn how to conduct an ROI or ROE analysis
