HeartMath® and Trauma Coaching

HeartMath® presented by Therese Tappouni

The HeartMath® system of tools and techniques was developed by a group of scientists at the Institute of HeartMath® to help individuals and organizations build their resilience capacity and improve mental functioning in order to “make better decisions, use your time more efficiently and have more flow throughout the day.” We will learn to strengthen resilience through research-based tools.

Takeaways:

o How to increase resilience, the capacity to PREPARE for, RECOVER from and ADAPT in the face of stress, challenge or diversity.

o How to plug “energy leaks” so you don’t feel depleted but renewed, defeating overwhelm.

o Diminish physical symptoms of personal and professional stress such as confusion, fatigue and sleep disturbance.

o Create an awareness of personal and planetary energies so you can strengthen your intuitive and reasoning capacities.

Trauma Coaching presented by Lance Ware, MA, ATP

Introducing Somatic Intuitive Training™, an Emotional Intelligence program for Stress Reduction and Trauma Recovery Coaching based on a proven protocol called Autosomatic Training™ developed by Dr. Phil Walsh, M.D. and therapist in 1978. An interactive presentation, I’ll demonstrate how the steps are successful at resolving underlying stress and trauma, empowering clients of all ages to excel with your coaching. Two unique benefits we’ll discuss are that the steps can be learned, and the long-term effectiveness can be verified. In a 2013 research paper, Dr. Walsh wrote, “All negative incidents … can be processed to complete resolution.”

Takeaways:

o You’ll learn to reduce stress and trauma by creating a state of deep relaxation you can use the rest of your life and share with others

o You’ll see how clients’ uncomfortable feelings hold them back when you’re working with them to achieve their outcomes and objectives

o You’ll hear how to help clients create built-in, powerful states of emotional control and confident performance to replace traumatic memories
