Reflections on Coaching Ethics

presented by Dr. Paul Carozzoni

Description

As the professionalization of coaching evolves, the competencies of coach Mastery will likely include a sophisticated capacity to consciously and actively incorporate ethics into practice.  This capacity is not only important to your professional behavior but also to the clients you serve, as they work to consciously confront moral and ethical issues in their life and work. The goal of this program is to stimulate your thinking and reflection on the place of ethics in your practice.

ICF-CF Member, Dr. Paul Carozzoni, former Director of Career and Executive Coaching for the Executive MBA Program at Smeal College of Business at Penn State University, will invite us to explore how the evolution of our profession is related to issues of Ethics and how ones’ Moral development and Professional development influence how one thinks about Ethics in Coaching.  Finally, we will look at how a coach’s perspective on these issues is directly related to the work they do, and don’t do, with their clients.
