Continue Your Coaching Journey with the Gold Standard of Professional Coaching

ICF offers the most globally recognized, independent credentialing program for coach practitioners in the world. Coaches who hold an ICF credential have met stringent education and experience requirements, demonstrated mastery of the ICF Core Competencies, upheld the ICF Code of Ethics, and committed to the ongoing refinement of their coaching skills.

Studies show that 85% of coaching clients say it is important or very important that their coach holds a certification or credential. An ICF credential signals to clients, employers, and organizations that you are a serious, qualified professional.

Why Pursue an ICF Credential?

Earning an ICF credential sets you apart in a growing and competitive coaching marketplace. It demonstrates that you:

  • ✓ Have completed accredited coach-specific training and education
  • ✓ Have logged verified hours of client coaching experience
  • ✓ Have been assessed on your coaching competency and performance
  • ✓ Are committed to ethical coaching practice
  • ✓ Are dedicated to your continued professional growth

Renewal requirements by credential level:

  • ✓ ACC renewal: 40 CCE units (at least 24 in Core Competencies)
  • ✓ PCC renewal: 40 CCE units (at least 24 in Core Competencies)
  • ✓ MCC renewal: 40 CCE units (at least 24 in Core Competencies)

Earn CCE Credits by Attending ICF-CF Programs

One of the most accessible and affordable ways to fulfill your Continuing Coach Education (CCE) requirements is right here through ICF Central Florida. Many of our chapter programs — including monthly meetings, webinars, Communities of Practice, masterminds, and special learning events — are approved for CCE credit.

By staying active in your local chapter, you can:

  • ✓ Earn CCE units toward your credential renewal
  • ✓ Stay current on the latest coaching skills, tools, and industry insights
  • ✓ Learn from industry thought leaders and fellow coaches
  • ✓ Fulfill your CCEU requirements while growing your network

Check our Events Calendar regularly for upcoming CCE-eligible programs, and look for the CCE designation on event listings.

Continuing Coach Education (CCE) — What Counts?

CCE units can be earned through a variety of activities, including:

  • ✓ Attending ICF-approved training, workshops, and webinars
  • ✓ Participating in mentor coaching or coaching supervision
  • ✓ Completing peer coaching activities
  • ✓ Attending ICF chapter events and programs (like those offered by ICF-CF)
  • ✓ Completing courses through ICF's Learning Portal

CCE units fall into two categories:

  • ✓ Core Competencies (CC): Content directly related to the ICF Core Coaching Competencies
  • ✓ Resource Development (RD): Content that supports your coaching practice, such as business development, leadership, or personal growth
