Biography
Marna Killian is a consultant and executive coach. She built her career as a Human Resources Executive, achieving business results through people. She believes successful company strategy and culture is driven through leadership.
Marna has over 30 years of leadership experience in Human Resources in the hospitality and service industries, which has enabled her to develop hundreds of thousands of leaders. Marna’s accomplishments include providing the strategic vision and planning for the people function of large restaurant, retail, entertainment and hospitality brands such as Margaritaville, Darden Restaurants, Bloomin’ Brands, and Checkers & Rally’s. She has created and led high-performance teams and has transformed brands through creating culture, employee value propositions and people strategies that produced business results.
As a professional coach, Marna has over six years of experience partnering with executives and high-potential leaders. She knows how challenging it can be for executives in the current business environment and is passionate about helping leaders navigate solutions to barriers. Marna works with the whole person to support personal and professional goals including physical and spiritual wellness, leadership skills, and uncovering blind spots to improve performance.
Marna received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from the University of Denver and an M.B.A. from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College. Her expertise is complemented by certifications including SHRM-SCP, PCC through ICF, iPEC, and The Predictive Index.
