Make Your Story Perfect: How to Tell Stories that Inform, Influence, and Inspire

    Webinar 12-1:30pm

    1.5 RD

It’s not enough to tell a story - how you tell one makes a difference in the experience. Today’s world values connections and clear and compelling information. Your ability to connect the hearts and minds of your clients determines your success. The most impactful way to do this is storytelling. It’s memorable, informative, and builds trust.

Join Karen as she shares the new science of storytelling and her approach to telling stories that inform, influence, and inspire. Come prepared to participate. You’ll be pairing up in breakout rooms to apply the concepts. Learn practical steps for telling the perfect story for any occasion.

    Learning outcomes include:

    • Coaches will be able to describe the Five Factory Settings of the Brain and how to apply them in storytelling.

    • Coaches will practice how to build a toolkit of story ideas.

    • Coaches will apply the four-part story structure to their stories and tell them in pairs.

    About our Speaker:

Karen Eber is an international leadership consultant and keynote speaker. Her TED Talk, How your brain responds to stories – and why they’re crucial for leaders, continues to inspire millions. As the CEO and Chief Storyteller of Eber Leadership Group, Karen helps companies build leaders, teams, and culture, one story at a time.

Karen works with Fortune 500 companies like General Electric, Facebook, Kraft Heinz, Kate Spade, and Microsoft—she guest lectures at universities, including the London School of Business, MIT, and Stanford.

She is a former Head of Culture, Chief Learning Officer, and Head of Leadership Development at General Electric and Deloitte. She is a frequent contributor to Fast Company, Thrive Global, MSN, and Business Insider.

Karen’s book, The Perfect Story: How to Tell Stories That Inform, Influence, and Inspire published this October with HarperCollins.

    2024 Communities of Practice Events

    Community of Practice Learning Circles

Amplify your Knowledge - Professional Coaching Conversations.

Sessions are all from 12 noon to 1 pm

This year we are doing something very exciting for our Communities of Practice. We want you to take your learning even farther and practice what you learn in the online sessions.  Approximately 2 weeks after each online learning session, we will have a Zoom session where you can discuss how you have implemented what you have learned.  We will discuss the challenges and the wins and learn from each other.

Instead of a one and done, you will have the chance to apply what you have learned then discuss the outcomes. There are many benefits to applying learning concepts to practical application.  It enhances understanding, memory, problem-solving skills, and motivation and it transforms learned concepts into practical wisdom, fostering a more comprehensive and applicable form of learning.
